What To Expect

During your initial office visit, our friendly and experienced team will fully review your dental and medical history, and perform a thorough dental examination.

Usually at this visit, we also take some necessary x-rays which will help us better assess your smile and your dental needs. Following this initial assessment, our team will take time to discuss your current dental health, make recommendations, explore your goals for your oral health, and develop a treatment plan that will provide you with your health options.

Children

Good dental care begins in early childhood. The Canadian Dental Association recommends children should visit our office for their first dental checkup by the time they are one year old, or earlier if there are any concerns.

During this initial check up, our caring staff will conduct a playful examination and demonstrate correct brushing and flossing skills. One of the most important goals of this visit is to help your child become comfortable with visiting the dentist. At the end of their appointment, the kids can find a fun toy in our treasure box!
